Prepare frames3 min read
Use built-in frames in an event
Start with an available frame, then choose which frames an event may use. A catalog item is not necessarily ready for offline use.
Version reference: Android 3.0.3 · iOS/iPadOS 1.2.1
Follow the section for your platform. Screenshots show native UI with demo data; menus depend on version, plan and device. Test-build features may not yet be in the public release.

Before you begin
Android steps
- 1Open Frames. Distinguish the photobooth collection from Mingle frames.
- 2Choose a ready built-in/local frame. If using the catalog/market, finish the download first.
- 3Open Events → Edit and set the default frame or the collection guests may choose from.
- 4Run a session to check the ratio, number of captures and photo order.
iPhone and iPad steps
- 1Open Frames and choose an available collection. Inspect the preview and frame size.
- 2Make sure the frame is available locally before using Offline Mode. An item awaiting download is not ready for an offline venue.
- 3Open Events → Edit, select a fixed frame or curated collection, then save.
- 4Start the booth and check that the intended choices appear.
Check the result
Operator check
The frame works in a real session and every photo appears in the correct area.
If something goes wrong
| Symptom | Next step |
|---|---|
| A library frame is missing from guest selection | Check the fixed frame/curated collection on the active event, not just the dashboard library. |
| Photo count differs from slot count | Several slots can reuse the same photo. Check capture indexes in the editor. |
