Before you begin
Android steps
- 1On Home, tap the top-left chevron with kiosk off to open the theme panel. Choose an available Home layout, such as Classic or Original.
- 2Choose the background screen. Images work on the offered screens; video and live camera backgrounds are Home-only. Use Customize to adjust supported layout previews.
- 3Open Home, press the photo action and test entry to AI Photocard if enabled. Confirm the session returns to Home when finished.
iPhone and iPad steps
- 1Open the theme panel from the Home chevron, then enter the Home editor. Choose an available image, video or camera background.
- 2For a camera background, allow camera access and choose an available built-in camera. This is the Home background; check the session capture source separately in Camera Settings.
- 3Customize the Photo and AI Photocard buttons using the editor’s available appearance, content and position controls. Leave space around screen edges, headings and safe areas.
- 4Save and test Home → capture/photocard → result → Home. Check the fallback when camera permission is denied or a background asset is unavailable.

If something goes wrong
| Symptom | Next step |
|---|---|
| Glass buttons are hard to see | Reduce background detail/contrast behind the buttons or use a more legible button color. |
| Camera background does not appear | Check camera permission and source selection. Test screen transitions after changing it. |
