Pick the print path first
For Canon SELPHY, use the direct workflow when supported. For printers that rely on vendor drivers, Android System Print or Printer Studio is the safer production path.

Detection is not the same as print readiness
A printer can appear through mDNS or open ports but still reject IPP print jobs. Always run a real test print.
