Arrange photo slots and PNG overlays
Slots determine where photos go; capture indexes determine which photos they use. PNG artwork is a visual layer over or around the photos.

Before you begin
Android steps
- 1Open Frames, select a frame and choose Edit. Select a slot and check its position, size and photo index.
- 2For two strips containing the same three photos, use six slots and repeat indexes 1, 2, 3 on the second strip.
- 3Check the artwork and QR area if used. Save and run a session with a different pose for every capture to make the order easy to inspect.
iPhone and iPad steps
- 1Open Frames → Edit. Select a slot on the canvas or in the inspector, then set its position, size and capture index.
- 2Choose Add PNG to add transparent artwork. Move, resize and arrange its layer relative to the photos.
- 3To repeat a photo, use the same capture index in multiple slots. Avoid covering faces or the QR with artwork.
- 4Save and test the result. Keep the source files too; local editor layers are not guaranteed to remain identically editable on another platform.
Check the result
Operator check
Each slot displays the intended photo, transparent artwork remains clean, and the print matches the preview.
If something goes wrong
| Symptom | Next step |
|---|---|
| A photo is unintentionally repeated | Check every slot’s capture index. Slot position does not automatically determine capture order. |
| A PNG covers the photo | Check file transparency and layer order. Test the composite result as well as the editor canvas. |
